Syllabus Details:

The syllabus for the International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) varies by grade to match the developmental and academic progression of students. For grades 5 and 6, the focus is on building a strong foundation in basic arithmetic, geometry, number theory, and logical reasoning. As students move to grade 7, the curriculum advances to include more complex algebraic expressions, coordinate geometry, and combinatorial principles. By grade 8, students encounter higher-level topics such as quadratic equations, advanced number theory, and challenging combinatorial problems, designed to enhance critical thinking and analytical skills. This progressive structure ensures that students develop a comprehensive and deep understanding of mathematical concepts, preparing them for higher levels of competition.
